    interesting. I Thought interceptors types are kinda unless in this day and age. Either way, i wounder if this is in anyways to counter the SR-72.

    don't know if this is legit, but a bit strange they if Syria did buy these. They arent good for CAS. More for airspace security

    It will be interesting to see what they come up with. I would have thought PAKFA/T50 or at most a derivative thereof should be able to fulfill this role for them.

    That's pretty much what I was thinking. Guess there's money to be made though.

    Yeah but how much will they actually be able to spend on them? Last I heard there were doubts about how widely the existing T50 could be fielded as a Flanker/Fulcrum(?) replacement, let alone a whole new type to replace the MiG31. Still a fair way off though mind you... I guess time shall tell.
