Any recommendations for A PLACE TO BUY SHOES FOR CHEAP and SPECIFIC MODEL SHOES.

I previously had asics nimbuses for 2 years and loved em. guess that means i like cushy shoes,

any advice is appreciated

everyones feet are different.....you need to just go and spend some time trying on a dozen pairs to find the right ones for you.

talk to runners in your area and find out if theres a specialty store rather than a sporting goods store to go to...an expert at a specialty running store will be able to find the right shoe for you judging on things like the way you walk/run, shape/size of your foot.

ebay? I just got a pair of baby blue Chuck Taylors and I love them. They were cheaper than other places too.

ha, i wish, that would fuck up my knees. I was just using them as an example of a good deal I got on a pair of shoes. Their are many different types of shoes with equally good deals,.

While they aren't cheap, I just got the Nike Zoom's and I love em.

i like reebok. like previous posters, different people like different shoes. it all depends on what you like.

+1 The specialty running store. I used to swear by my air max Nikes until I went into The Runner's Route and had them find a shoe that fit the way I walk/ran and the size/shape of my foot. Best thing is, they gave me a bunch of options as far as which shoes were best for me, and I bought a "not-so-expensive" pair.

i dunno if they are good for most people, but i really like New Balance. i wear the 906 trail running shoes. i can get them in wide width, they last a long time, are reasonably priced, and very comfortable. i cant use stuff with air cusions and the like, messes with my knees. so long as new balance keeps making the 906, ill never buy another shoe

Brooks, new balance, mizuno, asics, are all good brands. Just shop around and find what fits well and a place with a good return policy.

I add superfeet to my shoes and like it but some people don't.

Also remember the EVA midsole loses it's cushion at about 500 miles of running so if you do get a pair of running shoes remember that. Just wear them for running and they will last longer then if you walk around in them for daily wear.

The EVA cushions your joints when your foot hits the pavement so something to think on when you realize your shoes aren't comfortable anymore.

BIG 5... Not the biggest selection, but you'll be able to find some cheap, good quality shoes.
