What a backfire it would be if Pico loses though. Is a strange idea, can't see it doing very well ratings wise. Not sure one guy like Pico is worth doing all this for but who knows may pay off.
Pico is the underdog going into the match; don't think there is much of a backfire if he loses.
Metcalf is a grown man representing the international team already; Pico is an 18 year old high school phenom, if he loses, he will continue to get better, and then the focus turns into how he uses it as a learning moment as he further prepares for the olympic trials. If he wins, its another huge feather in his cap.
