Ill be okay with Floyd/Pac 2 if both of them continue to fight afterwards
But would Floyd still want Garcia after Keef takes the belt from him?
The only way Floyd fights past his 50th fight is if Manny beats him and they have a rubber match. A Garcia fight? Won't happen. Not enough money in it for Floyd. And I think Garcia would turn him down again, even now.
Meh, I'm not really excited about any of it. Watching out favorites fight beyond their best days for money doesn't do much for me.
Garcia vs Floyd would be pretty easy to make with the Haymon association and Garcia likely wouldn't get a crap payday like he got offered from Top Rank for Pac. Seems like a pretty safe comeback for Floyd. I like Garcia but he's too one dimensional to beat Floyd.
I don't really get why people think what number is on Floyd's resume matters to him, other than the 0 at the end of it. If the money tempts him and he believes he can win, he'll fight 51, 52 or 53 times.
You know I guess I don't pay attention here. Is the source just this guy sitting in his living room?
I would love. a Fight with Danny would be the best win Floyd could get before retiring.
Will the floyd rumors ever stop?
Right, because Floyd pays his opponents so much more than the crappy $4 million Pacquiao offered Garcia.
Guerrero: $3 million
Maidana: $1.5 million
Maidana 2: $3 million
Berto: $4 million
Seano doesn't use facts. Its a non story with him. He will bring up another issue to sidestep your claim.
^^^ tough to compare those fighters at those particular points in time to Garcia at that point in time and not see a pretty big difference in what $ they would command, IMO.
Ghost was the WBC champ just beating Berto and Maidana was the WBA champ after beating Broner.
Very similar to Danny now ay 147. Who has he beat at 147? Tough fight vs Ghost and stopping a faded Paulie?
What ppv has Danny headlined? He doesn't have the Puerto Rican support like Tito and Miguel.
Garcia would have been the best opponent for floyds "retirement" fight instead of that bum berto.
Bum? He Destoyed the almighty ortiz bro. Show some fucking respect bro
The most Garcia ever made is $1.5 million, against Lucas, Guerrero, and Peterson.
I don't know who you guys think 2016 Garcia is, but he is a guy who hasn't done shit in 3 years.
Offering him a huge opportunity after fighting Paulie and Guerrero is a gift, and the $4 million makes it even better.
Garcia is more of a threat then Vargas
Floyd doesn't pay anyone.
Berto's 4 million matches (or better) what Pac offered and he brought nothing to the table.
All of those guys you listed got career high paydays. Garcia won't take a step back to fight Floyd not to mention its a less risky fight for his legacy, Floyd being undefeated and still considered one of the best in the sport. Pac is generally considered to be on the back end of his career and beating Pac generally has not benefitted his opponents anyway. Bradley being blacklisted by the Pac legion and shit on about the first fight every single time he fight and Marquez being accused of PED use in the ultimate irony of the Pac era.
And lets be real, you guys know that no fighter is going to fight for the same payday he'd get from his promoter/management for some other promoter in a lesser fight.
"Slimpickenz likes this" in 3...2...
I always try to respond to everyone who responds to me. Save your snide comments for the Pac PED discussions.
Tim has headlined 3 ppvs after the Pac 1 and has made a ton of good money, much more than any of those other guys.
Danny would get your favorite saying, "career high pay day" 4 million facing Pac and would get 10+ if he won. Big risk, big reward.
Garcia has a career high of 1.5.
4 is more than double that.
Bradley didn't get anything out of that win? He went on to make huge money against Pac two more times (tripling and quadrupling Garcia's highest pay) and against Marquez he almost tripled Garcia's highest pay.
This is what its like trying to debate with Seano.
