He folds like a paper airplane when things don't go his way like against Cormier, it looked to me like he stopped fighting really and gave up

and he couldn't even ko glass chin Arlovski. Now, personally, I feel like the whole Arlovski's got a glass chin is bit exaggerated because those big boys hit hard and one punch can end things even if it's off the sweet spot, but then again, if Rumble hits that hard, why couldn't he put him away?

Nothing really stood out about Rumble at welterweight, another hard hitting wrestler welterweight in a division filled with them, but somewhere somehow, Rumble hype started getting traction hard and fast..

I think he's a really dangerous fighter with a legitimate wrestling ability, but not sure if he deserves all that hype around him. Bullshit stand up aside, it looked like he found a way out against Vitor too, anyways, don't remember it exactly however.

I do think him against Jones is much more interesting fight than Cormier vs Jones 2 because Cormier must be on the downslide and Jones dwarfed him as I don't know Cormier's weight cut has gone well enough to have stayed a bigger guy against Jones or even the same size after rehydration...

Easy one of the biggest stars in the sport

war Rumble

Beats everyone except Cormier from what we've seen so far. Not only beats them, but does so in devastating fashion.

No, he's not overrated.

Has obvious flaws but has wiped out everyone except for DC.

mann i remember when rumble got cut in the ufc, i saw him at a ufc event in chicago back when he was fighting at 170. i couldn't even recognize the dude, his face was so round and chubby

Ill just leave this here to keep the thread interesting.

He is not overrated, he is rated as a power puncher who is top 5 in LHW.. which he is. but he would never beat Jones, he would be exhausted after a round with Jones.

Well if this isn't a troll thread...being the 3rd best in his current division isn't overrated...

Also the hype is around him blitzing most of the UFCs top ten at 205lbs. Is he the p4p hardest puncher in the sport? I hate p4p categories for things like power or speed you can't tell but he did carry his power from 170 to 205, I can't imagine anyone short of Vitor who has consistently shown power in multiple divisions 185 to open weight. We won't get a clear picture of Rumble's power at heavyweight from one fight...

He's basically the LHW version of Vitor. You're at a very high risk of getting knocked out early in the fight, but if you are good enough to shift the momentum in your favor, you win.

They aren't exactly known for gritting it out and getting that come from behind win when things are tough.
