Royal Marines cool new kit

Still in use I believe.
They used to use this but they updated it to the A2 to sort out all the problems.


Yeah that’s the one I always saw them with. Maybe it’s just a matter of getting used too it but that bullpup style always looked awful to me.

the one in the new marine kicks looks pretty much like our m4

The amphibious troops will wear lighter, stronger, quicker-drying kit to aid them storming beaches and boarding enemy ships.

The Bullpup is still in general use across British armed forces but certain divisions use other weapons. Certain groups of Royals use MP5 variants and a Colt C8 carbine I believe as these are better for their specific duties. I presume that's what's shown there...
 
Meanwhile, the US Marines will use whatever the US Army rejected 18 years ago.
