Main card needs one more decent fight.
Hindsight is a great thing, they actually paid for Cormier Vs Stipe though, Ngannou had never fought like that before and almost nobody expected this to go to the judges, never mind it being a boring fight.A lot of UFC geeks hating on this fight but happily paid for Ngannou vs Black Beast.
Let's see if Sergei decides to even train for this fight.
If it turns into a grappling affair, Kharitonov is done for.
Sergei is no slouch on the ground. He has twice as many submissions as Roy and more KO's
I think it's sad what happened to Sergei. He came from that Sambo background I believe and was getting a lot of subs when he started out. He was maybe 240-245, fast and strong and could grapple.
Now he's like 260 and much slower and ignores his ground game completely for the most part. ...1 submission in 6 years. I always thought he wasted a lot of potential. Same can be said for Roy b/c he refused to take his diet serious.

True.
Nelson is a more well-rounded fighter (pun intended) between the two fighters. Maybe they both think the extra poundage helps add power to their heavyweight shots?
