Roy Jones Jr. October 7th fight cancelled

I knew RJJ had a fight scheduled for early October, but didnt realize he withdrew last week from it. Even though he's been well past his prime for about a decade now, I'm always curious to see him fight in the hope we might catch a brief flash of the talent that once made him great.

I never heard of the guy until I got into boxing. And judging from his atrocious PPV sales throughout his career, I don't think I'm an exception.

The fight was actually supposed to take place later today (Thursday, Oct 7th on the East Coast US) .... not on the weekend
