He is fighting 2 times this month.

Roy Jones, Jr. is going for another world title at age 46.

Jones (58-8, 42 KO) will get in the ring with Willie Williams (14-8) Friday night in Charlotte, NC.

Pulling a quick turnaround, Jones will headline*Island Fights 33*at the Pensacola Bay Center, March 28th. His opponent for that fight has not been named.

A marquee matchup may be on the horizon for the former pound-for-pound champ. Jones told Channel Three News that Cruiserweight Champ Marco Huck is open to giving him a shot later this year.

No way would any party really want the fight. Not roy jones, not huck. Who wants to see a dead man?

He said the other day that there is a 90% chance that he fights MMA veteran Chris Lytle this year as well.

I really hope this is not happening Anderson Silva would have at least been competitive for a little bit with Jones but Chris Lytle isn't only old and apst his besta s well but his boxing matches date back a long time and Anderson was at least bigger than jones and had a decent size advantage Lytle would get destroyed.
That said i don't want to see him fight Huck either it would be brutal I think Huck would knock him out just as bad as Lebdev did but probably earlier

"Marco Huck! After we win this, We coming for you *****!!"
Roy Booker T Jones Jr.

I really hope Jones vs Huck doesn't happen. If Roy wants to fight against the level of guy he's fighting tonight, thats fine.

I hope he wins and keeps doing what he loves.
RJJ is one of the best and most spectacular boxers I've ever seen, I just wish him the best.
He's way past his prime, but if he wants to keep fighting he'll always have my support as a fan and my respect.

should have hung them up after the first or second Tarver fight

spent his whole prime not wanting to get into a fight, gets beat and then spends the rest of his career getting into fights

Fact.
At the same time, however, for someone who relied so much on exceptional speed and anticipation, even a slight decline became a big problem.

And I did (do?) want to see him box Anderson Silva.

Can't call him Reluctant Roy anymore, I guess.

I wonder if the match between Harlem Heat and Hulk Hogan ever happened.

The best part of this video is his expression after he said it, as if he knew his career was over.

Happy for roy that he got the win. Still he beat a journey man club fighter.

Oh well, bring on Marco Huck! We coming for you!!

that's some ridiculous hand speed by average guy standards .

Damn..it hurts me to see rjj still fighting..specially when he was in his prime and swore he would never stick around too long especially after his boy got hurt

I have no problem with watching RJJ beat up journeymen.
If the Silva fight could manifest, that would be beautiful. I doubt Dana would let it happen though.

Would love to see that exhibition, but Roy would win pretty handily I think.
