Thanks again for the link. I dug into the data a bit....although "dug" may be a bit too strong. I can't find a lot of the information that I'm after....specifically which fighters were involved in the *16* women's featherweight fights that are listed.
I noticed that the lowest number of fights for a men's division is 196....the flyweights. Then, it jumps to 409 and continues to go up from there.
For the women's divisions, the lowest number of fights is with the featherweights at 16, as I already noted. This is pretty small, so I figured I could find a list of *all* of the UFC women's featherweight fights to see who is finishing all these fights. Not so easy.
But...not to argue with you, but with so few fights and such fighters like Cyborg and Nunes, I think you may agree that the sample size is too low and the fighters at the top may contribute to this division being a bit of an exception. I wonder how it would look if it had the number of fighters/fights that the other divisions have...?
I do think weight plays a role, as I believe you mentioned, but I also think this division's exceptionally high finish rate is skewed a bit because of the low number of fights and because many of those fights involved Cyborg and/or Nunes.
