He is talking about memories of his mom and how she taught him that anything is possible with hard work.

    at 9 minute mark.

His mom told him this precisely

''With hard work you can do anything, you can even manage to be released from the UFC when you actually should have won SOTN! Work hard my son and never let go!''

SO I guess its her fault

So the guy has the strength of a chimpanzee and seems to harbor memories of an unfortunate upbringing as motivation to inflict damage on opponents' lower extremities with little to no understanding of the consequences.

If you're the UFC, why wouldn't you want this man fighting your other investments?

This just shows why the cut was a good thing. If he can't control himself he shouldn't be in the UFC. He would just be a liability and end up hurt someone.

Maybe this will help him remember the limit in the future.

What I find funny is Palhares is one of the quickest fighters I've ever seen look to the ref, play the victim, ask for help and for the ref to do something.

    "Never let go my son!"
Unfortunately she meant his dreams, but young Rousimar pictured legs.

I cant blame the ufc for cutting toquinho. what he does is almost the same as daley striking after the bell. its not only unsportsman like it is potentially career ending. I love to watch palhares fight and have had the pleasure of meeting this guy. He is a nice guy by the way. he just cant do what he does.

Amazing how a matter of a couple seconds can be the difference between a bonus check and the chopping block.

Rampage, who went on a literal rampage wasn't cut but rather defended and helped out by the UFC despite his actions that he couldn't apparently control. Not defending either dude, but put it in perspective with this :

He's known to hold submissions a little long, and I think this time it's not an issue that I personally saw. In sparring/rolling I stop immediately if someones gives a light tap, but honestly, if it was my bread and butter to FIGHT for a living, I would make 100% sure the ref wanted me off the guy or to release a hold before I let go... even if the opponent was tapping and yelling. We've all seen fake taps and attempts to trick someone into letting go... we're talking about a persons livelihood and financial security on the line ; you go until the ref stops you, which in this fight is what happened. It was maybe a second too long if anything, but whatever.

If people want Ultimate Point Fighting Championships and can't understand the risks of fighting and finishing, I'm sure they will start adding some of the shit the NFL has and further water down the sport of MMA in the name of safety.

Personally, on a completely political note -- maybe people agree with this as well : http://patriotrising.com/2013/10/08...school-education-pure-hell-americas-children/

If his mother told him that everything is possible with hard work, who told him that extra boost (peds) are needed?
