When a fighter loses for the first time, they give their vcard to the victor. You can collect multiple vcards, but whenever you lose, your whole collection goes to the person who beat you.

Basically it's the same concept as lineal championships.

For this list I am including amateur bouts.

It's not terribly surprising that Rousey has the biggest and best vcard collection in her division.

    Rin Nakai	Miesha Tate

At it's core, a fighter's vcard collection measures the quality of their current winning streak. It rewards
    1. winning lots of fights
    2. beating fighters who are winning lots of fights

It's obviously not perfect (not even close), but it's not meaningless either and provides a sort of fun shortcut to grasp how significant a winning streak is.

    total vcard collection
    Code:
    503 Ronda Rousey
     88 Cris Cyborg
     54 Holly Holm
     34 Miesha Tate

    How were those collections built?

    Ronda Rousey
    Code:
      1 Hayden Munoz
      0 Autumn King (Richardson)
     12 Taylor Stratford
      0 Ediane Gomes

      0 Sarah D'Alelio
      0 Julia Budd
    210 Miesha Tate I
     25 Sarah Kaufman
      3 Liz Carmouche
      0 Miesha Tate II
     24 Sara McMann
    161 Alexis Davis
     36 Cat Zingano
     28 Bethe Correia

      1 Marise Vitoria
      4 Shayna Baszler

      0 Allanna Jones
      2 Nikki Knudsen

      3 Juliana Werner

      0 Liz Carmouche
     14 Rin Nakai
     11 Sara McMann
      0 Jessica Eye
    ---
     34 Total

Despite being on a 7 fight win streak, Gina Carano only had a 12-card collection, which says something about the quality of her competition.

Rousey had only collected 15 cards through her first 7 fights (including amateur).

Rin Nakai was on a 17 fight non-losing streak and only had a 14-card collection.

I actually feel better that this is the same thread being necro'd and not someone else thinking this was a good idea.

This is, undoubtedly, the dumbest fucking thread in the history of this forum. You should be ashamed of yourself, and even more ashamed that you spent THAT much fucking time on it.

    Grow up, nerd.

I thought to take someones v-card is to take their virginity?

Either way, Ronda is raping all the bitches in every division

I thought you meant Valentines Day cards.

I expected a pic of a huge pile of cards sent to Ronda by her by her fans (ie Rogan).

    I was disappointed.

  16. Judging by how creepy Rogan gets when he is in love, it wouldn't surprise me if he is the kind of guy who breaks into a woman's house and hides in her closet waiting for his mystical creature to fall asleep so he can watch her while breathing through his mouth.

I would think of you take someone's v-card you get to keep it. Seeing as you took their loss virginity away

    Funny concept.

A couple of times I looked at fight finder and thought, 'well if it was really a fight to the death, that later fight he lost wouldn't have happened anyway because he was already beaten in 2004 so would already be dead when the supposedly best fighter ever fought him. Meanwhile the alleged GOAT would also already be dead because he lost in 2002, so neither can be the best if it was a real man's world of fights to the death', etc, etc or whatever & would (half-assedly) try and figure out who would still be undefeated // alive if fighters really fought to the death, so everyone stopped after their first loss.

I guess in a way, this is a similar concept. Except collecting v-cards instead of skulls. I'm not sure which I'd prefer, but that might just be because this thread is discussing women's divisions, otherwise the choice would be easy.

That was a mistake, it should be Holly Holm

Fallon Fox lost to Ashlee Evans-Smith who lost to Raquel Pennington who lost to Holly Holm
