This forum needs more crying about worthless rankings.

Rousey should be #1 P4P since she could have killed all of her opponents had there not been a ref to stop her.

why do you give a shit, honestly? They are just an opinion, you have a different opinion i guess. so what?

Pettis ranked roo high

Ronda shouldn't be ranked at all

To be fair, he -just- won the title. With a couple defenses I'm sure he'll move up.

sex-for-sex rankings, maybe. but p4p.... they're equal and TJ would kill her. p4p rankings are a bit of a joke, but if you're going to take a shot at em, you need to do it with just men

Ronda Rousey is the number 1 P4P fighter, the biggest draw in the UFC, and would beat any male boxer below 170 lbs. Can I get a job on UFC Tonight now? Are you reading this Dana?

P4P is like a strength of fighter within their division. So it makes sense to me that Ronda is ranked high. You guys look at it like it's ranked how they'd all do against one another. lol

Dillshaw needs some title defenses first.....he just won the belt.

I'm not surprised that he's ranked lower. I'm not saying that he should be, but how many people would have had him in the top 15-20 before Saturday night? If he wasn't on your list before then, you shouldn't expect him to leap that high after one fight, even though he took out a consensus top 5 P4P guy. Most P4P rankings are just popularity contests anyway. Tell ya what though, TJ looked like one of the best fighters in the world Saturday night.

Of all the rankings to use, why do people always quote the UFC's?

Rankings were generated by a voting panel made up of media members. The media members were asked to vote for who they feel are the top fighters in the UFC by weight-class and pound-for-pound. A fighter is only eligible to be voted on if they are in active status in the UFC. A fighter can appear in more than one weight division at a time. The champion and interim champion are considered to be in the top positions of their respective divisions and therefore are not eligible for voting by weight-class. However, the champions can be voted on for the pound-for-pound rankings. Rankings will be updated approximately 36 hours after each event.

I wouldn't have had TJ in the top 20 before Saturday night, but I would have had him at least a few hundred spots higher than Rousey.
