“What makes me happy is winning and being the best in the world and that’s it,” Ronda told ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne. “F**k all the promotion and energy spent on anything that’s not me winning.”

“Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) star Ronda Rousey has revealed that her brutal knockout loss to Holly Holm, when she surrendered her bantamweight title, last November was a blessing in disguise.

“The California-born fighter is returning to the octagon for the first time since her loss last year and despite rivals questioning her mental state after her knockout, the fighter believes the loss helped her evolve as a person.”

"That loss was a blessing in disguise for my carreer" might be one of those classic MMA cliches, such as "I just wanted to put on a show for these fans", "I'm ready for whoever the UFC puts in front of me" and the timeless "it is what it is".

Lol, she won't catch the bjj black belt and judo brown belt Nunes in an armbar, and she damn sure can't strike with her.

Can't wait to see her eat her words again and fade away.

I just wanted to bite down on my mouthpiece, turn his blackbelt into a brownbelt, take him into the deep waters and go out on my shield

"Total Failure Boxing" sounds exactly like a name of a fighting system Edmond Tarverdyan would be teaching.

People in a good mental spot don't cry when fans ask them questions and they sure as shit don't put so much effort into promoting themselves then say "fuck all the promotion"

It is always to my liking that a random thread becomes an Edmund hating one.

These cliche's exist for a reason, especially the "blessing in disguise" one. In her case I don't think there is really a disguise, she needed a reality check and she got one. She's right that all the bullshit she was doing before the last fight was not helping her to win.

Regardless of whether or not she wins another fight in her life, getting knocked out like that has to be a positive for her growth as a person.

How about hanging up from media conference calls as soon as their partner gets mentioned? Lol

It's easy to see who is insecure on here. Always attacking women, calling them fat and ugly, trying to bring them down because they're a better athlete, and more success... I feel bad for these people. Instead of focusing on the positive aspects of their own lives, they go out of their way to try to bring down people that are doing better than they are.
