You overestimate Dana's power.

There was a good article on this issue on bloodyelbow or mmamania. If they put this on Fox, they'll get all the attention without the pressure of PPV-buys. It's a big responsibility for the only woman on the roster.

what if those guys didn't want a 5 round fight? Nobody seems to be considering the possibility that the reason they sought out a title fight to headline over this card is that the UFC didn't want this to be a 5 rounder or maybe Hendo is worried about whether he will be healed up in time to get in shape for a 5 rounder in time.

This is not true in all sports. Tennis broadcasts women's events on the same channel as men's, and the women get paid the same at most events. You don't hear people say that they hate having to sit through the women's events. In fact, a lot of people prefer watching it because there is more technique as opposed to raw power. Obviously, women's MMA is not at that same level, but it could be in the future.
