He looked very uncomfortable, hesitant, his footwork looked off and the accuracy was not there. The Rothwell who fought Overeem would have destroyed Junior within a round. Junior should consider himself very lucky that the fight went the way it did. Next time it will be different

Maybe because he was essentially in a 5 round title eliminator main event against one of the best HWs of all time with tremendous boxing? It's not likely JDS gets the next title shot but if Ben beat JDS he was almost guaranteed a title shot. Gotta have the perfect gameplan for a fight like that.

Thats what I always think when a HW loses decisively

He looked exactly like himself. That's why he lost.

Same thing happened to Ronda

he fought stupid and the fight was f'n boring

crazy fight to take

A much improved Dos Santos beating him to the punch probably played a big role.

But I do agree. He seemed off his game. I have very little doubt that this will make him a better fighter though.

his game has always been to take shots from people, bully them with his size and fuck them up when they trade with him or get in close.

JDS fought the perfect fight for him. he landed quick, crisp shots and moved away before ben could get a hold of him.

rothwell looked exactly like he's always looked. what made him look bad was a superior boxer who kept his discipline for 25 minutes.

JDS looked good. He was always going to be faster than Rothwell. Previously he's shown a tendency to trap himself against the cage which would be where Rothwell could do damage, but he circled out the majority of the time for a change.

He looked confused like he didn't know what to do at all

mmath doesn't work dude. Rothwell's fight with Overeem or Barnett doesn't tell he'll do well against JDS, nor does it mean that JDS is now inferior to Overeem. When 2 great strikers meet it's often a coin toss. There are just 3 at HW, Rothwell's not one of them. He is and always has been a slugger with a good clinch game and now a nasty choke (probably a few of them which he hasn't shown yet). He's not been a great grappler or a top striker. Looking at results alone doesn't work.

You know who else does not look themselves? You Oswald. What turd of a thread is this?
