Interesting to see another fight taking place at natural weight classes. they'll fight at welterweight instead of both cutting to 155. Wonder if there will ever come a time that everyone does this

That means they both have a lot of balls and are moving up a 15 lbs to take a fight against each other...right Conor fans?

Cool but idk why. they both were gonna fight 155 on this card before the opponent changes right?

Nice in theory, but they will both cut weight.
My impression is that they're both agreeing to fight at a higher weight class (170 instead of 155).

So they're agreeing to fight closer to their natural weights, whether that's cutting five pounds to make 170 instead of twenty pounds to make 155, or not cutting at all to make 170.

I think people will only do this for short notice fights.

Great. Now whoever loses can make the excuse that they fought up a weight class. o_O

It seems Ross has stopped with his title aspirations. He's been very inconsistent for several years now.

That could never happen. If everyone did it, then someone would choose to go down an extra weight class, since they won't actually have to cut the extra weight. Then everyone will follow suit and do the same, and we'll be back where we are now. This can only happen as a rare occurence.

I do think weight cutting can be removed from the sport via fight time weigh-ins, but that's a whole other discussion.

These men are absolute warriors for moving up a weight class. How do you think the winner would do against Wonderboy or Lawler?

That's the good thing connie did against nate

Although he tried to pass the idea that he was fighting a ww at ww

they are not moving up a weight class, simply they wont cut any weight, thats fair and good to me, its in their health´s own good
