She caught Joanna with a very solid shot early in the fight, and Joana smiled at her, which is what Joana does the first time she gets hit hard in a fight. Then Rose caught her again and dropped her. And then she finally dropped her again nearly knocking her out and made her tap to strikes. I see people on here saying she caught Joanna with a lucky punch and are comparing it to Caine vs JDS and Conor vs Aldo. Did you people even watch the fight?

Joanna’s striking strategy and footwork was the exact same as in her previous two fights, Rose was just much faster, longer, and hit her harder than her previous opponents. Can Rose perform like that again? I don’t know, she’s kind of inconsistent, but if she does Joanna is in trouble.

"How was she lucky ?"

She wasn't...

joanna seemed off that night in all honesty, the rematch will shed some light.

Don't remember reading she was lucky... Thug went beast on her and knocked the bogeywoman out. Then maybe some excuses.

Jabs weren't going off, her footwork lacked but Rose still capitalised. Lets not forget Rose murked KK on the outside. Its fully plausible that she may be the best or second best outstriker in the division.

Love threads addressing imaginary opinions from mystery people.

people say the same shit with Weidman being lucky vs Silva, it’s a defense mechanism cause they’re still butthurt

All those GSP takedowns? Successions of luck.

all those JBJ tkos and KOs? Successions of luck.

She was lucky because Joanna's fragile mind cannot accept that she got OUTCLASSED after all the sh*t talking she did. You'd hope she'd learn her lesson, but it doesn't seem like it.

I believe you just answered your own question there TS

Because Rose has never even come close to finishing somebody with strikes, while half of her wins are submissions, then randomly just KOs Joanna, the best striker in the division, with punches when the only part of her striking that has worked at all in the past is her kicking. Maybe the execution itself wasn't lucky per say, but the fact that her striking worked so well was definitely a matter of serious luck, or at least is seemed so. Time will tell if she just legitimately improved.

I'm bored so I'm just gonna get real drunk tonight, eh?

I'll start the night with Miller High Life and end the night with a gothic neck tattoo that says "NO RAGRETS."
