The way Rory's performed tonight shows how much a beast Robbie Lawler and Johnny Hendricks are.

Hector Lombard and DHK are left to test, and believing Rory won't wait till Potential Robbie Lawler vs Hendricks rematch, I think Hector or DHK should fight Rory for the next title shot.

Matt Brown is getting his chance at glory also, fighting Robbie Lawler for the next title shot.

Knowning MMA math isn't the most useful tool to rank talent among fighters, I do think Hendricks, Lawler and Rory are in a class above the others, tho I'd like to see how Lombard performs.

People dont seem to respect just how dangerous and good he is
 
I don't really understand the hate for Rory, did people expect him to just throw bombs at someone like Woodley? He still managed to shut Woodley down and showed that he's a top force

I'd like to see him either fight for the title next or if Johny's out for a long time still, fight the winner of Lawler/Brown.. Hopefully a Lawler rematch
 
DHK is not even a little bit close to top 5 level. He's lucky to be top 10. And Rory vs Hector would be very interesting

I agree but unfortunately I think it all has to do with his size advantage at WW

Rory and Johny are big WW's but Lombard is a huge WW

Don't forget Condit. Had that fight with Hendricks been a 5 rounder he probably would have won. Even that aside, he gave Hendricks all he could handle.

A fluke knee injury off a TD doesn't shove him out of title contention.

He finished Rory. The fight was competitive but he flat out stomped Rory at the end of the 3rd round.

Need to see how he comes back from Injury, hopefully he's still got it.
 
Don't count out Tarec Saff. If he improves his wrestling, he will definitely be a force in WW.

I doubt it. Either Lombard manages to finish Rory early (which I doubt, given how good Rory is at controlling range), or Rory puts a hurting on Ellenberger once he gasses.

Idk. Have you seen both of these guys fight? They have a tendency to literally do nothing in fights. If you notice, Lombard has had alot of inactive moments in all of his fights

Once he gasses. Lombard is hell on wheels prior to that. Look at ALL of his WW fights (all 2 of them lol). He comes out fast and ruthless. He beat the living piss out of Shields for a round.

Then, he slows down. Heavily.

Rory usually keeps his range against guys like that, but if Lombard slows down the way he did against Shields, Rory could easily finish him.
