Rory has been training with one of the guys who beat Wonderboy in kickboxing, WB isn't undefeated and this is MMA not kickboxing.

This must be based on their last performances. I think if Rory wrestles this could be some easy money. I don`t think striking with Wonderboy is a good game plan for anybody though and if Rory goes that route it may not end well.

Rory MacDonald by submission, i will go against the grain here. I must say this however, that Thompson is one unique striker and because he is so unorthodox, i could see this being a violent finish for him. Very close and tough fight to call.

I think Rory is a bad match up for wonder boy, but he has been working with weidman and may surprise a lot of people. He probably won't finish Rory, but he's very capable of taking a one sided decision.

I love both these guys it's gonna suck to see one lose

I just think Rory has more tools and Wonderboy is going to struggle to stay standing. Rory has the ability to strike into a takedown better than Hendricks which is important to beating him. If Wonderboy doesn't feel he has to respect your standup or clinch and can only focus on TDs he'll stuff them. The key is mixing it all up which Rory does well and his ground and pound is vicious if it gets there. Wonderboy is on a crazy hot streak though and momentum and the confidence that comes with it is a bigger factor in this sport than people want to believe.

I think Rory will pull it out by the smallest of margins. His grappling is under rated people on here thought he'd get grapple fucked by Woodley and Maia and that just wasn't the case

Thomspon is 57-0 in kickboxing, so yeah, he's undefeated. Only one loss in either, to Matt Brown, and that was years ago before Thompson learned how to grapple.

Thompson has huge momentum and confidence. If it's close to even money, I'm def betting on Thompson, but should be a good fight. It will be interesting if Rory decides to try and keep it standing.
