1. Taking 13 months off after a loss.
2. Staying at Glendale.
3. Not taking a favorable warm up fight to work out the confidence cobwebs from Holly.
4. Staying at Glendale .

Bruh, it wouldn't have mattered even 3% more for her. She was outgunned in a major way against Nunes. Liek I said before this fight. She doesn't burst in with TD's like Miesha or Sara. She needs to be in the danger zone to operate with her Judo clinches. I called this happening even 3 years ago, and yes, even after seeing Nunes lose to Cat. A highly explosive striker with long reach that can explode on you in the 1st round will always beat Rousey. And one with legit size and athleticism.

The biggest in-fight mistake? She panic judo'ed. Instead of grabbing for an invisible gi, she should've covered up. Fucking never learned how to do that in the gym?? That means she hasn't really sparred stand up hard AT ALL.

Blame Edmond. You had an absolute stud in Honda and you ruined her career. Should've fired himself and sent Ronda to AKA, ATT, Jackson-Wink, fucking anything other than Edmond. Fuck you Edmond, fuck you!

Staying at Glendale Fight Club. Most of the other stuff can be attributed to that.

Stepping in the cage with a bigger badder bully.

Forgetting she's an olympic level judoka and not a fucking golden gloves boxer.

Seriously, fight your style of fight. When Ronda did that, she was a legit great fighter, contender and champion.

Her striking could have been slowly and properly developed but instead Edmond has reinforced bad habits and giant gaping holes in her striking game that there's simply not enough time to correct even if she wanted to. And for the record, I don't think she wants to and I don't she will ever fight again.

Edmond is the only right answer.

5. Blocking punches with her face.
6. Headbutting Nunes fists.
7. Eating knuckle sandwiches.

As soon as you're hit, fall down and let Nunes follow you down to the ground where it is safer. Don't stay standing.

So true. Ronda simply refused to go to a real fight camp and round out her game. In the early going, she didn't feel like she needed to...was able to overwhelm soft strikers by swarming them and imposing her clinch game. So, she stayed at Edmond's doing bullshit work while the rest of the field was training hard in all aspects of MMA, including hard sparring. Had Ronda learned some defensive boxing and developed some wrestling takedowns, she might still have a career. But...she was lazy and didn't challenge herself to get any better, so she's done.

She had knee surgery in May otherwise her return would have been in July.

Ronda's mistake: signing up for this fight and thinking that she could win. She should've stayed in her appartment with Travis Browne like a do nothing bitch. Her time is over.
