So it's pretty much confirmed that Ronda will never return to the UFC.

It's okay though, judging from the language in Cyborg's promo the UFC is angling for Cyborg to take Ronda's spot as the most feared female fighter of all time anyway.
Cyborg beats 50% of male bantanweights. I believe.

I think it was over money. Cyborg over-estimated her bargaining position, so it was just a bad business move by her. I don't think she's afraid of Rousey. Doesn't change the fact she is the one that walked away from the fight with Rousey, not the other way around. She's twice been the cause of a fallout with a fight with Rousey.
Making it sound like Rousey was never down for the fight when twice Rousey was ready to do it and Cyborg walked away from it or got herself suspended, is revisionist.
