At 4:40 and 4:32, Nunes got away effortlessly. This thread is for people who say Ronda should've gone for takedowns or clinch.. Ronda did try.
 
Nunes punched her right back to square one both times.

At least Gina got full mount on Cyborg twice.

In retrospect, Gina vs Ronda could've been a competitive fight. Don't think anyone thought so at the time though.
 
Yes but she had no setup for the clinches, didn't even rush in she just walked in. Precede it with a jab, slip a punch to shoot in? Anything but walking in with your face
 
It looked like she even was shooting for an weak doubleleg at one point but nunes pushed her back easy.
 
Ronda doesn't have the skill set to close distance and take down an opponent who doesn't run at her like an idiot. She doesn't have a double leg. Nunes does an incredible job of keeping people at the end of her punches while keeping her hips at a safe distance. Ronda had no way to win that fight.

just some Rhonda's white knights excuses...the reality is Ronda suck balls standing has no TD and if her opponent dont clinch with her or has a brain fart (cat) she cant win a fuckin fight. Zingano would have REKT Ronda too if she didnt go full retard....

That's all she needed against her other opponents prior to the two that could strike and knew grappling defense.

Gina could've made millions had Cristiane Justino never become an MMA fighter. Cris ended Gina's career, Ronda was smart to duck her.
 
Ronda doesn't know how to set up a strike for a takedown. She only knows her Judo throws so if you can counter that then you pretty much beat her. Ronda needs to leave Edmund that's for sure. She can still come back and be a great again if she just leaves that trash coach and joins a real camp.

True, she had a pretty unique combination of look, personality and actually knew how to throw a punch. Also showed heart accepting that fight and I honestly believe she would have won it if she didnt stand up from full guard.. Cyborgs groundgame was pretty green at the time. Thats still crazy to me after all the years.
