She's looked like crap since the IV ban has been put in place. She isn't nearly as strong as she was before the ban. Coincidence? I think not. She was clearly gaining an advantage by cutting a ton of weight. And yet she was terrified of Cyborg...

    Reaching bro.

Ronda was on weight like a day or before weigh-ins.

Maybe. Ronda always did enjoy being a little bigger and stronger than her opponents before she faced Holly. I just think her strategy of bulldozing her way into her opponent's clinch just isn't going to work anymore against fighters who know how to strike.

I think she just faced competent strikers that weren't painstakingly useless in the clinch

Ronda won by beating those women before they ever stepped in the cage

Are we blaming Mike Dolce here? If so, I am so game.

Strikers. It's the fact she's actually fighting strikers that can KO her instead of wrestlers that play right into her true strength.

    Sure.

She looked a weightclass larger than Bethe and McMann. When she is bigger than her opponents, should could simply bully them until the ref stopped it.

Her last two fights have seen her against fighters her own size (or bigger) when in the cage.

If she can't physically bully an opponent, she loses a major advantage.

USADA isn't to blame for her shit striking and even worse defense. She always got tagged rushing into the clinch, she finally ran into chicks as strong and big as her who knows how to strike way better than here, and most importantly aren't scared of her.

There's that too. I'm not claiming she's not overrated. I just think USADA and the IV ban were a factor as well.

This thread is about IV bans tho. Mike Dolce has been vocal in the past about it. BJ Penn once claimed Mike Dolce tried to give him an IV before the fight and was on 4 different diuretics.
