Probably because their are no female rock guitarists that are remotely in the same realm as a Vai, let along an Eric Johnson or Guthrie Govan (two name two insane guitarists who aren't as "corn ball" as Vai.) The closest I can think of who is a legitimate great top 1% guitarist
