define star? I'm talking A-list star. She was a nobody outside of MMA circles prior to UFC. Similar to Carano still to this day who is a C-lister at best

Let's be honest, Rousey made the UFC and is the sole reason for it's popularity

If Rousey never graced the UFC and ktfo Beche in Invicta, Invicta would be the premier organization.

I think you got it backwards.

UFC did not allow her to compete under their banner. It's the other way around - Rousey granted the UFC the privelage to showcase her fights.

Rousey would have become a star regardless of UFC. Dana & Co. just had the good fortune to be in the right place at the right time. (They were the leading mma org at the time when Rousey decided mma would be her vehicle to superstardom.)
 
Ronda and tate have talent, the others are amateurs at best.

Conor and ronda do have 1 thing in common. Well, conor has quite a few more fights but they both stop people quickly. ronda a little faster, but then again, Ronda isn't fighting people like chad mendes either. haha

Nah, they gave her a platform and promotion, but she had to deliver on the performance, which she has. Winning like she has is not luck, it's the product of hard work.

I'll add, there's nothing more pathetic than a grown man making excuses about another person's success and whining about it like the world isn't fair. Your dad should slap you around for turning out as such a pansy.
