Media Ronda explains whe she won't attend a UFC event🤕🟪

Still crying into the pillow I see. It's been 9 years since you fought Ronda, there's a vast swathe of fans who have never even see you fight live and would clap along with the rest of them.

What do y'all think??🤔

"The majority would cheer for her, like they do every fighter who is shown on camera enjoying the fights.
She's just insecure, traumatized and depressed all on her own. Sad."

Whoever this woman is now she has zero resemblance to the Ronda Rousey that was a UFC champion.

Jesus Christ, she looks timid and afraid of the world here.

and part of that would be called karma. she was a pretty serious byatch when she was at the top, and sometimes bad things happen on the way down.

14 pro fights + 3 amateur bouts ... ZERO decisions.

15 of those 17 fights were finished in the first round

Ronda came to FIGHT

Ronda was a fierce competitor,
her fights were electrifying and edge of your seat "Don't Blink" occasions.

I had the pleasure of seeing her fight in person at UFC 175 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas

Her walkout was an experience.
You could feel the energy and polarizing "Aura" as the kids say.

Love her or hate her, you were going to watch her and be invested in her fights
Hell yeah. Never got psyched for a wmma fight like with Ronda. You just knew she was going to put on a show. Sad how great wmma started off and then just sort of got worse.

Never saw the UFC hype machine used like that to push an athlete.

Now people are mocking that clip were she tries to shadowbox, but at the time they were eating with a spoon that she's this great boxer and whatnot.

Booing her seems a bit extreme, unless it's done by guys who believed the fabricated hyperbole and felt cheated after the reality check. IMO they should see the humour in all this and get over it.

Like I tell my daughter. You want to be Mr. Cool guy popular girl? You have to deal with the consequences of being popular.

I don’t know if this has to do with MMA fans. It’s people. If you’re expecting people to be decent toward her, then you’re essentially expecting people to not be human. We suck. And we love a Ronda getting head kicked gif.

Let us be assholes!
What makes you think your daughter is cool or popular??😜

The group that cheers for Donald fucking Trump is gonna boo YOU, Ronda?

Craziest victim complex I've seen in MMA lmao.

She is right

MMA fans are assholes.

Worse than that they are assholes who lack empathy and the ability to self-reflect on basic human level

Just wait this thread will be filled with people tearing her down
She did that to herself

She also went through the exact same thing in the WWE, so I don’t know how you can paint MMA fans as the problem

And I was a massive Ronda fan, I still am to an extent, but reality is reality

The hate Ronda gets is far beyond any crime she committed.
Haa she been obnoxious, oh hell yeah.
But she hasn't done anything vile

Jones is breaking pregnant ladies arms and beating his wife.
Conor is out raping people and gets less hate.
Jon and Conor get way more serious hate, people just find Ronda unlikable, go read a comment section with Conor involved lol everyone says he is a degenerate POS

But the difference between Ronda and them is Ronda basically said fuck you to the community and never came back, she hasn’t even put herself out there to see if she would get hate or not

Every athlete deals with the ups and downs of fame, one day you’re a baby face and the next you’re a heel, then eventually you’re a legend people remember fondly… Ronda never came back after the down to enjoy being a legend which she absolutely would be if she was involved in the community in any way

I kinda feel sorry for her too because she just doesn’t get how it works, but she brought it all on herself which is undeniable really because as I said in the comment above, she did the EXACT same thing in wrestling

The second she started to be a heel and people started booing her, she shit on the entire business/community and ghosted… wtf do you expect to happen after that?

The early stages in MMA are wild and part of that is that before any particular division or subsection of MMA developes you have this era of mismatches and due to everyone not really approaching the same sort of "peak human performance' and limits of capabilities, that allows for someone, in this case Ronda, to get a jump on the competition and have an insurmountable skill gap.

Ronda was ending her title fights faster than Prime Mike Tyson for a while there.

Prior to the Holly fight Ronda had four consecutive wins in under 66 seconds. Those 4 fights total were just barely over 2 min fight time. (2:10... average 32 sec).

1:06 TKO McMann UFC 170
16s KO Alexis Davis
14s Sub Cat Zingano
34s KO faceplant Bethe

She was stacking bodies.

I think at her core, she is insecure, and used sports to build confidence. That was shattered badly by the losses, & because at her core she is thin skinned, she can’t seem to handle the lows and criticism that come with popularity

She is a human after all and we all want to be liked more than hated

She was pulling a Khamzat while defending her title. I honestly wouldn't have minded if she stuck with the sport and even if she wasn't champ, just putting on fun fights all those years. Probably could've beat Holm later on when she was winding down.

Lots of hate that I feel is too harsh for someone who basically created WMMA. Although, maybe that deserves some hate for what we have today, but most hate I hear direct it towards her personality. She's a fighter and should have ignored it or embraced the hate, but guess she really is a sensitive person. Oh well, I'm sure she made tons of money with UFC and WWE, where no one should feel too bad.

Ronda earned some of the hate she got but I think like a lot, it goes too far.

MMA fans are REALLY bad about conflating outside-the-cage, even sport, beefs with inside-the-cage impact, greatness, etc.

It's actuality possible to be a shitbag AND still the best at what you did, even if that best was just for a bit.
Sherdog really knows how to beat a dead horse. She got what was coming to her with Holly holm and people still won't let it go. She's been humbled and has mental health issues.

Same person, different circumstance. She believed her own hype for a while is the only reason you saw something different.

Then she got her ass kicked. Then she went to wrestling, seemed to think she would be the biggest star and Becky Lynch happened.

Now she seems to feel sorry for herself. Tough being rich but the whole crowd doesn't cheer you. Maybe if she wasn't so arrogant then in her statements about people in general, she'd have some goodwill now.
