    - both are great athletes
    - both are great in their respective disciplines (judo/wrestling)
    - both polarizing figures outside of the cage
    - both huge draws who bring in casual and non fans to watch
    - both make huge pay days
    - both have ATROCIOUS striking
    - both cannot take a punch
    - both white/blonde hair/blue eyed 'great white hopes'
    - both will prob never fight in the cage again.

The obvious difference is Brock seemed to take losses in stride.

You need to get your eyes checked. They definitely do not like being hit, but Brock can take as heavy a shot as anybody and not go to bed from it...and Ronda showed in both the Holm and Nunes fight that she can take savage maulings and keep herself on her feet(until she gets head-kicked into Bolivian)

You lost me on the first one.... Ronda a great athlete? She looked like a weeble out there.

Oh, and Brock has some other career prospects. Ronda? Not so much....

Brock might not of been a striker but he used it to set up his wrestling and ground fighting very well. If Ronda can't get the take down she loses, pretty simple.

Lmao Brock was never a legit fighter. He looked good in 1 fight and that was against Mir, but Mir beat him as well.

He only did it twice his entire career, with a shot Herring and Mir. So wtf?

Again only doing it twice in his entire career doesn't mean he can do it very well.

Both fighters were highly acclaimed and hyped up primarily on accolades achieved outside of MMA.

    Ronda an Olympic medalist Judoka.

Brock a highly decorated Collegiate wrestler.

Both were overhyped by the UFC as unstoppable forces and their skills were embellished as a result.

Both trained in camps with 'yes-men' that were organized around them. Not being effectively challenged, essentially leaving them as one-dimensional.

Both then lose their titles to better competition and then both take a long hiatus off from fighting.

Only for both of them to make their triumphant return to the UFC for Friday December 30th at the end of the year. Where they both receive an inordinate amount of the attention by the media and the promotion for the fight.

Then both of them get utterly destroyed in a lobsided beatdown where they actually look WORSE than they previously did in their first respective UFC runs.

I wonder if this will become a UFC tradition for any Friday December 30th shows in the future.

Come on bro, your an idiot. Brock beat Randy, Mir, Herring, Carwin all within 2 years of even training. Hell he came back after 5 years off and beat Hunt. Idc if your juiced or not, not many humans can do that.

46 year only Randy with a year lay off with at least 60 pounds on him, a shot Herring, and he was totally exposed by Carwin.
