It's not like some dude called Derek Brunson outgrappled him. He ONLY wrestled at unc Wilmington. Lol what? I'm from North Carolina and even I don't know what the fuсk unc w is. He has no chance to outgrapple Romero, no chance at all.

Depends if Yoel concentrates on his wrestling. Yoel basically stopped wrestling when he went to MMA as he figured "good enough" and needed time to work on everything else. He's also, in the past been happy to sacrifice TDD to strike and kind of fell in love with his striking (a common condition among wrestlers). Recently he's seen this as a mistake and has mentioned going back to his roots, which is potentially terrifying, look what he did to Machida once he got him down.

Whether Yoel wrestles or not, I have no fucking clue.
 
Big difference between MMA wrestling and Olympic level. GSP out wrestled division 1 national champs and he didn't pick it up til late.

What I'm getting at is Yoel will not out wrestle weidman. He will want to keep it standing because weidman is dangerous on the ground.

Yoel has 1 chance of winning. A blitz and a dubious stoppage. Weidman is very hard to put away. It will be victor weidman II

What I will say, is Chris Weidman has overrated wrestling. People act like if Chris Weidman tries to take you down you're going down for sure, like he's the Olympic level wrestler.

Weidman is well rounded, but he is slow and Romero is far from it. Do not be surprised if Romero knocks Chris out.

I dunno, Weidman looked weak off his back vs Rockhold. The Chris may be one of those wrestlers who just never gets comfortable on bottom. Plus, Yoels GnP is devestating.

If I was Yoel, I'd be very keen to get on top of the Chris.
