Hey,

looking for a quick bit of advice please. I've totally fecked ligaments in my wrist, at the side, I can do push ups etc (straight on force) but any kind of sideways pull absolutely kills me. (and when i rotate/circle my wrist, i get lots of pain and some nice pop / crack noises)

I am still tempted to try and attend no gi tonight, and use one hand. Is there a goodway of protecting it ? I've heard people who have these kinda problems can roll gi just by puttin gtheir hand into their belt...

Thanks

Put a brace or a lot of tape on it, and then just don't grip with that hand?

I guess I'd just immobilize it with wraps (partially to protect the wrist and partially to remind you and your training partner that you have an injury), keep your arm close to your body, and select smart training partners.

Use a wrist brace and/or lots of tape to protect your wrist. I would also tape up your hand in a loose fist so you are not tempted to grab with that hand.
