I had been trying to figure this move out for so long. I watched the Genki Sudo westside submission tournament highlight video, and i tried to slow it down to figure out how he does it. Well, I finnally figured it out so I figured I'd post it on here.

I set it up from and armdrag...lets just say we're dragging the right arm of your opponent. So you arm drag them and you get them to step towards your right.

Then you step in like your going for an inside trip, except its gonna be your right leg hooking their right leg.

As your stepping in with the right leg you drop down and do a forward roll.

As your rolling over you triangle your legs....the left over the right.

You should finish with it set up....your legs are triangled and all you have to do is pull down their foot/ankle to crush the calf along your right shin.

I Hope this helps people who were trying to figure it out like me. Also if this has been posted before i appologize. I can post pictures of this also if the explanation isin't enough.

Thanks. It's still a little hard to picture... but I think I get the gist of it. I'll try it out tonight.

Worth noting: You will get better leverage if you grab closer to the toes.

Also this move can be done from half-guard bottom:
    Use the usual underhook.
Come out to the side and try to take the back.
If they they block the second hook grab the trapped foot.
    Then roll.
    Figure four and apply.

Great post and videos, I would post one of the bottom version but I'm not very techie.

Cool vids dude. How do you set it up from half top? I'm not rolling tonight, so I'll play with it later, but you gotta get your shin into the crook of their knee... do you find that you do this before you rool or in the process of rolling?

I've been trying to hit the flying triangle in sparing lately... and so far it's resulted in me being unintetionally slammed numerous time, the last time landing mostly on my head. Fun stuff though. :)

  14. please demonstrate the mexican surf board.

i know how to master the move, but i lack the video technology. our sherdogger friends should not be neglected due to said problems.

Cool. The character Bayman does that in the Dead Or Alive 3 video game on the Xbox. I think I've seen Gokor Chivichian go through it in some video too.
