Today at my gym (fitness, not MMA), I finally had the chance to learn some technique from a couple of guys who train regularly.
What an awesome time. I haven't been in that kind of environment since I stopped training in Judo over 20 years ago. Although I still have a good base from that training, it was cool to incorporate some grappling, throws, and clinch defense.
I learned how to counter knees while being in the clinch, and how to break the clinch. Some other highlights were some cool take downs when being grabbed from behind and transitioning them in to a submission.
Anyways, just had to share, and I figured this was the right place to do it.
