Wtf was that Joe?

Khabib dominated every round. He even put on a jabbing clinic. Yes his chin is in the air when he trades, but the guy shows good footwork and he controls the distance well. The guy is unbeatable at 155.
 
This is what happened. Joe probably got a text from Brandon Schaub, another retard, telling him khabib was doing horribly. Joe bought it and started the shit talking.

Joe needs to go.
 
Huge joe fan but the way he was making seem like both Joanna and Khabib were getting rocked after every punch that either lands a little or wiffs was annoying as fuck.

Well tbh khabib wasn’t impressive I believe .. seemed like If Al could put a combo together he could ko khabib .. the last two fights were good I believe though .. but the most exciting part of ufc 223 was Conor lol
 
He was more impressed that al was giving him problems. It was decisive but al was never in trouble. If that went a few more rounds I could see the tide switch. Khabib was getting tired and al was stuffing takedowns. Also don't think khabib is impossible to beat. Eddie would have beat him tonight. He's an all around better version of al

Khabib is extremely tough to beat, but no one is unbeatable.
 
He was pointing out Khabib's bad habits, which was fair enough.
 
Rogan was actually calling Khabib "amateurish".
 
Joe started the night praising Khabib in his kind of over the top way. That led to extremely high expectations. When Khabib didnt get the finish, he underperformed Joe's expectations. So he came off as disappointed.

Certainly Khabib had brief moments of vulnerability one could imagine better fighters than Al Iaquinta exploiting, but winning 50-43 is hardly a fighter being exposed.
 
MMA a shot can land and its lights out. Joe was probably thinking Khabib is fighting the wrong fight he should take back to the ground. I never feared Khabib was in any trouble he just wanted to have a knock for a couple of rounds.

I don't see how this isn't obvious. Joe was doing the whole Ronda "once in a life time" routine about Khabib before the fight started. Then Khabib looked very mortal for three rounds, against someone who isn't even in the top 10.

I do not dispute this. I think Jimmie Smith is better.

I was disputing that Joe has some sort of axe to grind against Khbaib. He said way too many great things abut Khabib to support that notion.
