This was in response to Brendan Schaub saying, “If you ain’t fighting in the UFC, it ain’t shit”. What a ridiculous statement to say.

Using Schaub’s logic, CM Punk > Lima, Pitbull, Bader, Cyborg, Chandler, Davis, Minakov, AJ McKee, etc.

I agree that Lima is horribly under-appreciated, but your last statement strays from what Schaub is implying.

What he is clearly meaning to say is that being 'the man' outside the UFC is not the same as being 'the man' inside the UFC...he is not claiming that anyone in the UFC is better than everyone outside the UFC.

Except Rogan says that about anyone and everyone - arguably the best, arguably the pound for pound, arguably the greatest ever, arguably the greatest athlete in the history of all sports....... if he's not proclaiming you to be at least possibly the best, then you probably have a sub-.500 record against soft opposition.

If Douglas Lima was any good, then he would be the current UFC WW champion. He is not in the UFC. Consequently, we don't know how good he is.

Barely lost to Rory and did more damage. He then beat Rory. Rory was top5 WW and even fought for the title. You can lose to him and still be one of the best in the world brah. And Rory has been finished early one time, which was a weight class up vs another top 5 opponent. Dude, these guys are all awesome fighters. Not scrubs
