Rogan says at the one minute mark of this clip that you need to be a wild motherf'er to be the baddest man on the planet, referring to Jones' coke issue.

    Is this true?

Seems like somewhat the opposite in that some guys are so disciplined that they are not touching anything other than healthy foods and hitting the gym.

You have to be insane in some sort of way, he has a whole video talking about the relationship between madness and excellence when speaking about Ali, Tyson, Michael Jordan. I guess the same goes for Jones.

Stupid and bad advice for kids that look up to the guy...

Also, historically the greats have been pretty opposite of Jones personality wise... Fedor, GSP, Silva etc

People try to bring Fedor, Silva, and GSP into the mix, as if their stuff don't stink, but we don't know what demons they struggle with. Jones was just stupid enough to get caught. I've said for awhile that I think GSP is hiding something, I just can't figure out what. There's probably some truth to Rogan's statement...

He didn't often show it, but the GOAT could get pretty wild.

Fedor was likely the wildest Mf'er of all, just not in an extraverted sense

I think to decide you want to fight for a living requires a certain amount of craziness but not the "i need to do drugs and party" craziness. For GSP, you get a strong sense that it was his insecurity and experiences with bullying. With Fedor he fought to feed his family in the beginning, true hunger and poverty can bring that out of you. I believe Aldo is the same way. It could be just one of those statements that can apply to just about everyone too.

GSP, Anderson and Fedor, arguably the three greatest fighters of all time, and none of them seem "wild" to me. I'd say "disciplined" if anything; being wild seems like it would be a huge disadvantage.

BJ and Diaz might fit the description.

If what you say is true, then that`s scary stuff. Imagine Anderson`s, GSP`s and especially Fedor`s demons.

you cant deny that there is some truth to what he said.

But Fedor doesnt have any demons,he defeated them all by overhand right some time in the year 1996 i believe. Its his bro that's got the issues like flaws and human emotions and red blood and so on

    I agree with Joe..

Fedor hangs with Vladimir Putin, GSP thinks Aliens control him and Anderson "is normal"
