Rogan believes Jones did not take steroids

I'm not retarded, so no I don't watch rogaine's show; that's irrelevant to the point however, as there is no test for "intent", simply on whether there were traces of banned substances in his system, which was confirmed. Everything else is just rogaine trying to fill the airwaves with his crackpot, horseshit theories that have no basis in reality.

It's not irrelevant to HIS point. The point Rogan is attempting to make is that it's very plausible to take supplements tainted with trace amounts of banned substances. Which has been PROVEN true.

Listen - The tainted supplement used to cut cocaine is possible in theory but highly improbable. Its just really really "thin" defense narrative.

I'm a JJ fan but I don't believe this shit really actually happened.

That shit is in the same realm of unbelievable as the LAPD planted the blood evidence in the OJ case

Passing the lie detector test, Rogan's belief that he is innocent, other MMA fighters believing the same thing and the fact that Jones is a Christian is enough for me.
well, Rogan's argument is that Jon Jones did cocaine that accidentally had some shit on it.

so do you still agree with Rogan? and if so, how does that mix with the whole Christian thing?

Yeah, I guess it's plausible that Jones didn't knowingly and intentionally take steroids...

oh wait

You are comparing middle-of-coke-binge JJ who is purposely puffing out his stomach with a photoshopped oiled up/flexing version of JJ with perfect lighting.

Nobody said he accidentally tested positive for clomid and then an anabolic, I said taking Turanibol makes no sense.
Crashing repeatedly with your car while high/intoxicated when you are a wealthy athlete who could just hire a driver or call a taxi makes no sense. Oh wait.

You're ignoring the most relevant fact. Two failed PED tests.

you better believe rogan has been paid handsomley by dana to "believe this" on his podcast
i actually don't. i think Rogan is just a fan who also has some fantastic ideas.

for example, he thinks Alex Jones has some great ideas.

it's part of what makes him a successful entertainer. like it or not.

ach. my thinking is like this. dana clearly likes to manipulate the media - he's had helwani banned from ufc events, and then let himi back when there was a backlash. he never does interviews with real journalists that would ask tough questions, just doofuses on the payroll.

so, point 1, he likes to manipulate the media.

point 2 is, joe has a lot of listeners and joe likes money.

calling it man, joe is a shill. not saying i wouldnt be too for megabucks but time and again we see joe push ridiculous shit on us which coincidentally always makes the ufc look good. joe will recite the company bullshit about francis the ford escort, he told us noone ever existed like ronda rousey, now he's telling us that rose namajunas has the hottest face that its actually possible to have, and that jon jones, whose physique changed drastically while he was away from the sport, who has shown us time and time again that he is an impossible-to-rehabilitate train wreck who does hit and runs, gets in car wrecks all the time, takes drugs, lies about it, then admits it and brags about it, pokes everyone in the eye, brags about that too, and he's failed drugs testing for every fight since usada, and his nfl star brother failed a drugs test the same month he did. but for some reason he isn't a prime candidate for being a drugs cheat.

joe may have a bunch of dumb opinions, but im pretty sure that he's prepared to get paid to be dumb as well

ach. my thinking is like this.
ya. i certainly cannot prove anything. nor can you. we both have weak evidence to support our opinions.

here's my short version:

a) i tend to give the benefit of the doubt (admittedly sometimes to a faulty level), and
b) i think his views on MMA are equally as daft as his views on plenty of other topics. he knows a comically low amount on a wide breadth of topics. most of us know less than him on most of those topics. but if you even find a topic you know something about and listen to him talk, he comes to some pretty stupid fucking conclusions based on scant knowledge.

EDIT: upon 2nd thought, "b" is not a very good argument of mine. Rogan knows more on MMA than most everyone here. still, my point is that he has a willingness - no, a propensity - to come to make grandeur conclusions based on scant knowledge.

lastly, i have no doubt that if Rogan were in our shoes, Rogan would think that Rogan is bought off.

cheers

I'm still shocked Joe Rogan's not a flat-earther. All the signs were there.
