we all know that his devastation of The Last Emperor was, is, and always will be!

*Rogan's exact words or something to that effect, post-fight interview.

It's close TS, but Fedor had been beaten before. Overeem had a huge hype train behind him, not a lot of people gave BF a chance in hell, biggest MMA stage in the world and you KO the man that defeated the UFC's top money maker. That's a pretty big deal!

AT the time he fought them both, Overeem had more of a cloud of invincibility around him, and more on the line in the fight

And Overeem hadn't? Fedor was coming off his first legitimate loss in 10 years, which most people were, while not taking anything away from Werdum, considering more of a mistake on Fedor's part (not keeping the fight standing) rather than the unstoppable grappling of Fabricio Werdum (since, you know, Fedor's dealt with high-level grapplers before). A single loss like that people can look past, a minor hiccup, something that was mathematically inevitable considering how long he's fought. Wouldn't effect his standing as the world's best heavyweight.

Bigfoot then went and manhandled Fedor in a way never seen before, with Fedor getting beaten and bloodied up more than he ever had. And this was by Bigfoot, while a decent fighter, never seemed to have the respect or "pedigree" of Werdum.

That was the beginning on the end. Not that Fedor lost, that Fedor lost twice in a row, and how he lost.

Bigfoot never stopped Fedor.

Fedor answered the bell, good to go, breathing less heavily than Bigfoot.

It's really between an Overeem who stopped a diverticulitis-weakened Lesnar and The Legend whose previous submission loss to Werdum was thought by many as a fluke. (Though it turned out twas the start of the fall.)

Overeem is probably more satisfying because of the trash talk and the comeback

Oh c'mon now, he was as good as stopped...no, he was stopped. It didn't go to the judges, did it?...

lets make things up wooooooh

I couldn't imagine which was more important to bigfoot I guess it would be like which one of your kids do you like better type of a question.

I agree!

And Reem hasnt?
What a crock of shit.BF did to Fedor something that no one hasnt, many people had turn reems light out b4 him.

I actually noticed that when he was asked that he paused for a bit then said yes but clarified it was because the UFC was such a large show. Maybe its my inner Fedor fanboy but part of me likes to think he wanted to say Fedor.

I'd imagine Overeem would be the most "satisfying" since he seemed to be the tougher opponent in the cage, and gave bigfoot more problems than Fedor.

I rank this one waayyyyy higher. Fedor had already been derailed by Werdum and Bigfoot probably outweighed him on fight night by about 50 lbs. Overem was supposed to destroy Bigfoot, is a huge physical specimen, and was taunting him the whole way up to being knocked out.

Maybe Bigfoot doesn't want to dwell on past victories and rather looks forward. Unlike Werdum for a while.

To give an opinion, the Fedor win would be what he'd be remembered the most if his career ended tomorrow. At least in the long run...

You're missing the point. Fedor handily beat Bigfoot in the first round. In the second, Bigfoot mounted Fedor and pounded him for a full round and couldn't finish Fedor. Yes, Fedor's eye was closing up and he was roughed up but he answered the bell. It was the doctor and ref that made the call to stop it because of his eye.
I'm not saying Fedor would have come back...but it is Fedor we're talking about...he is sort of known for making spectacular comebacks from adversity.
The ground has been Fedor's bane in his three twilight losses. Lost to Werdum by jumping into the guard. Lost to Bigfoot by getting taken down and mounted causing eye injury stoppage. Lost to Hendo during a scramble on the ground. Check out his next three fights after those, all stand-up.

The fight was stopped.. So yes he stopped Fedor.. Lets not argue over semantics like children..

I wouldn't say handily beat him in the first...there were a lot of close striking exchanges with both guys hitting hard

Fedor wad never out he took his beating he is still the best
