Rocky IV (hearts on fire) vs Karate Kid (you're the best)?

Karate kid beats rocky 4.

But OG rocky theme beats all.

I'ma go with Rocky 4. There really isn't anything that compares. Except maybe Bloodsport Kumite

Neither.

Bro, I just got done watching Rocky 4 like 30 min ago. Hearts on Fire is my jam. As a matter fact, I listen to the Rocky 4 soundtrack while working out sometimes, no joke.

I work out to You're the Best.

But I also work out to this:

Hearts on Fire is cool (even though it failed in its attempt to recreate the success of Eye of the Tiger) but You're The Best is a way cooler song.

You're The Best is the shit.

"Now he's worried. You cut him! YOU HURT HIM! You see?! He's not a machine! He's a man! No pain! No pain!"

You’re the Best is the better song, but as far as the montages themselves go absolutely nothing compares to Rocky IV. From the crumpling of the photo to screaming “Drago!” From the top of the mountain that montage can pump anyone up.

Rocky IV is essentially 40 percent montage. Karate Kid song/montage is classic but you can't beat Rocky IV in that department.

What I never really got about that awesome Karate Kid montage is you have him face off against Steve McQueen's son at the pivotal point of the montage. It's all built up nicely with Dutch's cockiness as they square up and then the sneaky kick that he tags Larusso with. Yet then it shows Daniel-san just win the match in short order with no fanfare. It just strikes me that there is so much build up within the montage to that matchup and then the match itself is just each of them scoring with a kick...and Daniel-san being declared the winner.
