the worst for me it was entertaining but most of it was over the top and stupid.

Rocky somehow forgot everything he knew and apollo was teaching him from scratch .

What was your favourite rocky , mine is the second

"Win"

Rocky 3 is my fav.
Rocky 1 is the most overrated.

I like all of them for their own reasons but I and V have always been my favorite.

He didn't forget what he knew. He just ran into a better Rocky in Mr. T and had to learn a new style.

Apollo didn't teach him things he already knew. He taught him the stuff that he never knew.

The funny thing is that after Rocky 3, he actually did forget everything Apollo taught him.

I liked Rocky 3 Alot because Apollo taught him how to box , sorta , the training Montage was cool

Rocky couldn't even hit the speed bag properly . So that's not true It was like he was a rookie

Fights were different after 3 he went back to brawling

I'll give you the speedbag, but the rest of the time it was mostly learning rhythm to jungle junk music, fancy footwork, defense and slipping punches.

In both 2 and 3 he added substantially to his skillset.

5? With Tommy Gunn ?
Yep. I liked the aspect on Rocky in his own element of the streets. That and street fighting his "young lion" in a non boxing fight was cool, he is essentially putting everything he was trying to teach his son into work. The part of his kid cheering him on during it was cheesy but the rest was alright. I know most people hate it.

Wait, do you even Rocky IV bro?

III is the GOAT 80's sports film. You have the opening with "Eye of The Tiger", a transcendent sports/movie song. You have the guest appearance by a soon to be Wrestling Superstar Hulk "Thunderlips" Hogan! You have the charismatic and evil black antagonist in Mr.T! You have the old black antagonist, whose no longer evil, return as a friend and mentor.

III borders on parody, but IV jumps off the cliff. III is the perfect Rocky movie. It crescendos perfectly and ties the first three movies together.

"You knocked him down, why don't you try knockin me down now?"

Rocky V was the last of the series that looked/felt like Rocky movies. The newer ones are too crisp/clean in their picture, colors are too vibrant - I don't know how to explain it. Just misses the grittiness and feel of the older ones.

Im surprised im no longer alone in liking 2 the best.

"Yo, Adrian I did it!"

Rocky 2 was my favorite but rocky 3 is close because Apollo and Rocky teamed up and Clubber Lang was my favorite rocky opponent.

This.

I mean, it's stupid to over-analyze ROCKY obviously but for someone to watch it and completely miss the mark as bad as the TS did on what was happening in that movie is baffling. Jesus. Stick to children's movies if Rocky 3 is too much from you and you couldn't figure out the very simple "he was just a tough brawler with no technique, now Apollo is training him to box" angle.

I mean, I do find it weird that you pointed out the color of Clubber and Apollo's skin and nobody else's but uh....yeah other than that I guess I agree.
