Weidman could say he beat Lyoto at his own game. He also dominated Machida on the ground, but he couldn't finish him b/c no hellbow .

True...but after the first round Machida could not walk straight. Then Rockhold made Machida tap in the next round. Machida was able to go the distance with Wiedman and talk about his future after the Wiedman fight. In a Rockhold/Wiedman trash talk in regards to their performance vs Machida, the only common opponent they have within similar time frames, Wiedman can't win that trash talk battle.

Why does Weidman deserve hate? He doesn't pick his opponents, he only beats them.

Of course he doesn't deserve hate for doing his job, it's just that his job is beating people who have fans that can't accept their favorites defeat and for some absurd reason feel better about their favorites loss, if they can discredit the fighter that beat them.

These people think that when their favorite fighter wins or is considered a GOAT, it reflects positively on the fans as well, like they have somehow accomplished that. So of course when their favorite gets beaten, they think something negative is reflected on them and they blame the man who destroyed their dreams of invincibility.

Stupid kids, that's what they are.
