Great on the ground, maybe the best in the division, but his boxing is just absolutely atrocious.

He gets beat by any good striker with decent TDD.

Mousasi would give him a very difficult fight.

This. All you basically have to do is avoid his left kick. His boxing is sloppy as fuck and zero defense.

Moose, Whittaker, Bisping (again) and Yoel would KTFO him easily. He's not very good

his check right hook is his only good punch, but yeah his defense is so fucking bad.

don't let this dude get on top of you though, fucking monster.

i'm glad he's back, always been a big rockhold fan.

his striking defense is bad. I kind of feel like I used to watching jardine, where it's too easy to find his chin and you're just waiting for him to get hurt.

I hope he loses a rubber match to Bisping just for coming off as a genuine prick. Bisping's a prick too but it's more for show.

Rockhold's takedowns aren't amazing whereas Jacare was good enough to takedown Romero among other names.
That's true, but Moose seems to be somewhat weak in the clinch & I would be worried for him. If Rockhold could manage to get him down I think it would probably be over quick....Hard to say as I am a die-hard Moose fan.

He's going to have more problems with Whittaker's hands, I think. Maybe we get a chance to see that fight soon (not in year 2019, I mean).

lol you're giving Rockhold way too much credit and not giving Moose enough credit.

Rockhold's mount & back control are game-over but aside from that it's a stretch to say that he would finish Mousasi on the ground.

For one, his takedowns aren't that special.

It's not super-hard to take Mousasi down but once it happens Mousasi is more likely to lay in guard and forfeit the round than to actually get hurt.

His jiu-jitsu game is solid, it's just that he has a tendency to lose rounds against wrestlers.

If I may say anything to his credit it's that Mousasi was able to reverse Weidman- which is an incredibly difficult endeavor.

Rokchold's grappling is better than Mousasi but Mousasi is pretty good in his own right.

Both are mediocre wrestlers.

Mousasi would absolutely piece him up on the feet though.

Branch ground game is solid too, look how easy Rockhold get to mount.

Plus Rockhold is way stronger.
