Was looking at Luke Rockholds record today and came across an interesting fact. He has beaten five champions across three of MMAs premiere organizations:

Ronaldo Souza (Strikeforce)
Michael Bisping (UFC)
Lyoto Machida (UFC)
Chris Weidman (UFC)
David Branch (WSOF)

And he has finished four of those opponents and went five rounds with Jacare who was the first top 20 opponent he ever faced and won. I'm looking forward to this fight with Romero.

Too bad he's about to get finished by Romero and probably retire after that

The guy has skill. I wanna see if he can make a run after all his injuries, as well as an ambarassing loss to Bisping.

Lmao, since when is WSOF a major organization?

So cute that you involve Bisping in this ...

... a dude who is only in that list of champions in the first place because he cleaned Luke's clock inside a round.

Well Bisping had never been a champion in a major org when Rockhold beat him. Still can't believe how their second fight went down

I don't like Luke, but there's no denying he's a great fighter.

I hope we see him fight Mousasi one day. Moose was the Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion, the DREAM Light Heavyweight Champion and the DREAM Middleweight champion. By that point I wouldn't be surprised if Moose had won the Bellator MW and LHW belts as well.

And did that walking off a movie set with 11 days notice.

Still disappointed that it's Romero instead of Whittaker. Rockhold Vs Whittaker would have been much more fun to watch imo.

And his ego still kept his chin up and hands down for Bisping. What a legend...

Ary loss.

Romero has 7 minutes to finish Rockhold or he's losing
I'd agree 100%, but this was round 3, so I agree 90%.

He's not to far behind my boy Eddie in terms of that organization resume, good for Rockhold, should he get past Romero, how people may feel aside, there can't be any denying his skill and position on the Middleweight Division. Dude's a beast when he's in the right state of mind.

Yeah, but Romero only spent six minutes and thirty seconds of those previous rounds fighting. The rest was...recharging.

Reminds me of the Tim Kennedy fight, Romero was pretty much out on his feet, props for coming back but the extra time between rounds definitely helped

He's everything you look for in a fighter minus the chin and defense
