I think so. That win keeps getting better. Robbie is a beast. Who stands in the pocket with that guy and KOs him?

    Nick Diaz, that's who.

Not really. It was 10 years ago, Robbie is 10 times the fighter now then he was when Nick beat him

Maybe if you're a fucking idiot...

...Robbie is not the same fighter now that he was back in the day, you might as well be implying that Fedor's legacy makes enhances the resume of every fighter that beat his brother Aleks.

Nope. They were both different fighters back then.

Robbie can actually beat other ranked WW's though. Something Nick can't do.

They were both kids then. Doesn't mean anything now.

At this point, no. Robbie's the overall better fighter.

Nick would still be competitive with him IMO.

Styles make fights. Nick doesn't lose to a lot of people who don't try to wrestle him.

It will always be a great win, they both improved a ton afterwards (Diaz more so). I don't think Lawler's success now makes it any better than it already was but people were definitely acting like it wasn't an impressive win anymore when Lawler was struggling as a MW several years back.

Diaz improved more, what? If anything Diaz has regressed. He stopped using his ground game which is his best asset.

Lawler looks unbeatable at 170 now, clearly #1 ranked WW, and Diaz still doesn't have a single top10 win.

Robbie is going to get his second title shot within a year and Diaz is just going to cry on the sidelines.

.....T-E-N years ago.......over a 100 events ago.......when Lawler had a total of NINE fights.....yeah I could see how that makes diaz "look better"

.....Its not like lawler is any different a fighter than he was TEN years ago......and with TWENTY THREE more fights under his belt.....

Don't bother. The guy is the most delusional Diaz fan on Sherdog
