Huge Saku fan here, and I still don't think he's complete enough to deal with Lawler 2.0. Lawler would use his amazing new TDD and improved striking to starch Saku. Probably wouldn't even be competitive.

Really, come on. I loved watching Saku back in the day. The guy had heart for miles and was always ridiculously entertaining. But realistically he didn't beat anyone of value after the year 2000 other than Rampage, who came on as a last minute replacement and was on a big stage for the first time ever.
