In 2 years span. That's impressive.
Awsome comeback. 10 career losses and now all of a sudden he's the champ with a title defense.
But connar fought thru a hand injury?
Robbie isn't a paper champ.
I dont think it was a Robbie's decision to not fight. Something is happening behind the closed door.
connar was fighting for the belt
I doubt he would defend the title with an injury
Ontopic: Robbie rules, I like active fighters. And active champions are even better.
he is tho
I may be alone in this, but I don't think he needs a fully functioning thumb to obliterate Carlos.
no he isnt at all gsp retired not like jbj who is out due to conduct robbie might have even won the first fight with hendricks who many claimed beat gsp before retirement. close fights are hard to call and hendricks certainly isnt a master point fighter or finisher.
And the lone loss during that span was against Hendricks, who he beat in the rematch to win the title. Dudes a monster.
Lol then that must make Conor an imaginary champ since he won an imaginary belt by beating the guy that lost twice to the ACTUAL champ.
Whereas Cain fought 2 times.
Lawler is a complete anomaly. His resurgence is greater than pretty much anyone else in the UFC. I love watching him fight and I hope he smashes Condit.
I hope he retires with his brain mostly intact. His style of fighting, mixed with how often he fights, can't be good for his long term health.
Robbie is a beast. Much respect
I guess back in the day he used to go all out in training and decided it was taking away from his health and effectiveness so he decided to ease up a lot and credited his resurgence to that. He has been in some wars but hopefully not killing himself in camp will off-set that somewhat. The guys doing both really are going to have some problems done the road in life.
Yup, it's nice to see a good active fighter in action
Lol, * he may have won the first fight (didn't) against a guy who many claimed beat the former champion (didn't).*
I actually really like Robbie and don't think he's a paper champ. But your not doing him any justice with that argument, basing his legitimacy on sherdoggers crying about foul decision (happens all the time for no reason)
I'd be waaaay more impressed to see a champ put this type of schedule together.
But, yeah, Robbie's a beast. Hopefully it's a short layoff.
