Cathal Pendred is by far the worst fighter in the UFC roster. I can't stand watching him fight, he is just awful and he keeps winning so I have to keep seeing him. Great he is making a career for himself but he has no standup and just walls and stalls and lays n prays. He is stiff and awkward and looks like he doesn't even train ufc.

Cerrone lost too. Good fight, I enjoyed it. Props to both.

    Conclusion: Judges are racist.

there should be an investigation because it is pretty blatant. I know Ben won't because he is friends with Cerrone but that one fighter should file for a review or something.

It seems like the judges heavily favored octagon control over effective fighting...

I think you're right, maybe TS should watch the actual fights and try to find some similarities within the fights, rather than the appearance of the fighters.

so unified rules allow them to weight each part of the judging system at their own leisure? no wonder the system is broken and robbing winning fighters of their win bonus. And rewarding slackers. USA USA!

Boston... city with Irish mob ties who also happen to be racist.

The only way Pendred won because one of the judges woke up with their beloved horse's head in their bed.

My point is maybe you should try to analyze the fights and try to see how the fights could have been scored the way they were, rather than acting like the judges were the Ferguson Police force. Frankie Edgar, Josh Thomson, and Gil Melendez laugh at your theory.

Basically, yeah. Every card has decisions that I disagree with, and what you mentioned in this post does seem to be a big part of the problem. I think the rules should explicitly state that octagon control should be weighted less than effective striking or grappling. I routinely am disappointed in how aggression with submission attempts seems totally ignored by judges.

Interestingly, Anik scored the fight for Cerrone. I don't think it makes him racist, but I disagree with his score.

I don't feel too bad for Benson, though, since I've disagreed with a few decisions that he won as well.

I don't think the Cerrone win was a robbery at all, but Pendred was shocking. He's awful every fight too.

Ceronne/Henderson was one of those fights that are super-close, that can go either way. No one really won and no one really lost. Can't be mad either way.

Cowboy-Bendo could have gone either way. Pendreds fight was too boring to watch

Agreed 100%, the only positive I can see from this is if he keeps winning bs decisions sooner or later they will have to match him up with someone with solid striking and power, When that happens Cathal is going to get brutally put to sleep

Prendred decision was brutal, I & most people had it 30-27 for Spencer. Most media also had it 30-27 Spencer

    The rules DO state this.

Cerrone and Pendred did not win those fights.

You're right, the rules do state that. Unfortunately you would never know it by watching the results of decisions over time.
