Sucks but at least it's a decent replacement.

About as good of a replacement as you could hope for.

Damn, I wonder how bad the hand injury is / how long it might take for it to be fully healed, I was REALLY looking forward to that fight, but maybe the future has better thing for Sterling :-)

Fuck I was really looking forward to Sterling's next fight. Hope he'll be back shortly.

On FightMatrix Font is ranked higher than Sterling and Gagnon.

Tough fight to call though. Winner of this gets a top ten guy imo. Though Gagnon has the unfortunate issue of not being able to fight outside of Canada due to being a villain.

Good replacement, though I was looking forward to the original bout.

Do you know anything specific about his past? All I can find is stories about his "visa issues" that provide no details and I'm always interested to know if a fighter is a huge shitbag in his personal life.

Actually I kind of assumed based on my memory of what I think I read on a forum one time that he has a criminal record in Canada that prevents himself from leaving, but the only thing specific I could find is on this random Yahoo Question.

Apologies if it's not the case to Mr Gagnon.

I thought the Sterling fight was a better stylistic match-up and I was really looking forward to seeing Sterling fight again, but this is about as good of a replacement as you could ask for. It'll be interesting to see how Font handles a grappler and a decent test for both of them.

damn i was really looking forward to seeing Stirling fight again .
Hope font pulls it off
