Supposedly according to a source who is close with the Director/Writer of Road House, the film has yet to even be written in full. Rumours that the film is going to be cancelled.

My source was a retweet from FrontRowBrian on Twitter - Presumably you guys know who he is. Partner of Tom Lawlor on their podcast, pretty reliable source, but a well known troll.

Thoughts? Is it all falling apart for Ronda...?
 
If it's true, that is not good news for Ronda. Her body is already growing larger than her ego. 2016 is not a good year for Ronda.

Im not surprised some things take a different route now, i mean all the hype is now gone.

I have read somewhere that her part on Roadhouse was going to be changed to a much less significant role.
 
film isn't cancelled, Ronda is just not the main star anymore
 
Holly Holm cancelled the "Road House" remake on November 14, 2015.

This news is about 3 and a half months late.
 
I think Hollywood was only an option when she was the champion. Now that route has to fade away since she doesn't have the acting or the looks. I don't know much about US tv, but I bet she'd fit right into some afternoon opinion television for women like 'the view'.

I believe that is for her movie with Mark Wahlberg.

This one is a different movie.

Which I also hope has been cancelled.
 
Patrck Swayze is rolling over in his grave.. Back into his normal comfort position from which he rolled from upon hearing of this movie being considered in the first place.


Btw, Holly would make a better movie bad-ass than Ronda.

It wouldn't surprise me at all. Her allure has dropped off dramatically. From being a once ever, mentally toughest human. To crying on Ellen. Even the casuals are getting turned off. She is, and always was a phony. She was never what she, or the UFC said. Nobody can deny her achievements, but a serious air of respectability, or legitimacy has always been cast on those achievements.

So, she's not superwoman.

Since just before the loss ( weigh-ins ). She made herself look really bad. Once and for all, the casuals saw her as she truly is. We knew what she was, after seeing her act for yrs. They never saw it. Or maybe in the case of her feud with Miesha. They thought she was badass. Her " don't cry ", ( Not Miesha ) Not shaking, acting full douche on TUF, etc. They may have seen it in a distorted perspective. But, it was always boorish, and bullyish. Exactly what she's always claimed to be a victim of. Since the loss to Holly, even the casuals have seen she's not a good person, and is mentally weak.

How does that woman play the female Dalton in a remake of Roadhouse ? And what idiot pays to see it ?
