Would the fight be at 147 or 140?

Would definitely be an exciting fight and could sell if promoted right.

I'd like to see the fight. What are the chances of it actually happening though?

I'm sure Danny would love to have Pac's name on his resume.

And Manny is quite small at 147, they are very similar in stature.

"There" are better names but Garcia is a P4P great right now and it would be a solid match up.

And who are these better names you speak of?

Those would all be great matches...

but Danny Garcia is legit and a serious opponent.. Herrera is a grossly underrated fighter...

and in all fairness, Garcia always has some close calls in almost all of his fights.

Tough fight to break down. I could see Garcia hurting Pac. The guy does have good counter punching skills.

That said, recent fights at 140 have me thinking we were all overrating the guys in that division.

    Possibly.

I can't see Pac coming in and fighting like Herrera. He's much more like Mathysse stylistically.

Danny Garcia forgets his right cross at times, which he has stopped people with in the past. If he shows up and isn't in 100% counter fighter mode, he could win the fight.

Counter punching could win him the fight but only if he had some sort of control offensively as well.

He is doing all the right things, dude is only 26.

Pac is a very fucking tall order for him right now but he is game. He has not hit his ceiling yet imo.

My biggest problem with Danny (outside of you pointing out him forgetting his right cross) is how sloppy he is defensively. He almost always backs up with his chin straight up. He closes his eyes when he punches too much for my liking.

I don't like his ring IQ either. I'm not trying to shit on the kid but he isn't smart enough in the ring to beat Pac. I think he's going to get a Floyd pay day anyway first

Trash talk between Roach and Garcia Sr alone would be worth it.

We just need Guerrero on the undercard so Guerrero Sr. can get in the mix at every press conference.

Agree, as much as I hate to say it. I've had high hopes for Garcia but his style isn't going to make for longevity at the top. He'll do well for a while I think but will likely lose a fight that he should dominate when he goes to 147.
