Rizin tournament question

First I wanna say whether you like or dislike Rizin the Contenders forum hasn't been this busy in a while so that's a good thing.

If this has already been answered than my bad but looking at the tournament it had 6 winners yesterday and Wand gets the bye as we know. So that leaves the tournament with an open spot. Perhaps its a bye for a surprise entry like Fedor ect? Has this already been addressed by Rizin?

Yes, there is a second entrant that received a bye, but we don't know who it is still. It could be Fedor, it could be Heath Herring, it could be Shane Carwin. We have no idea, other than that he is famous and probably fights above 205 pounds.

I wasn't aware of that, thanks for the info. Hope it's not Herring, he's been out of the game for so long. Carwin or Fedor would be awesome.

I imagine they originally wanted Fedor but he is going for the $$$ right now. Fedor, King Mo (HW tournament winner), Heath Herring, Shane Carwin, any of those guys would be good. I just hope it's a big name guy. If Kharitonov had already gotten his Bellator fight in, he would have been good.

Now that you mention it King Mo would actually be my pick. Would be interesting to see him against some of these monsters like Baruto. i think he actually would have a chance at taking the whole thing
